I would hope it's to the end of next season, gives him the opportunity to plan for whatever league we are in.

Going by his record, this is what we needed after Challinor. Early days yet of course, but if nothing else it actually looks promising.

disagree, we are fans and its the clubs business to keep us informed. the only thing private should be wages him and the players earn. search other clubs fans messageboards and you,ll might find out there.

I would imagine there will be a clause about keeping Pools in the league maybe even a bonus.

In all Honesty it should, cause if we went down, He will still be the correct choice for the NatLge imo.

Askey's pre-match interview is on the OS now. He says he's got a contract till the end of next season; also that he was just about to sign for somebody else (York again?) when Raj made the call. Says he couldn't turn down the chance to manage in the Football League again.

This is a good appointment I think.....likely too late to save us this season and only as good as the backing but the sort of appointment that should have been made post Challinor instead of fannying about for a year and a half
