Byrne a rumoured target for us has signed for Stockport. Shame I thought he'd be a good signing for us.

Supposedly left Pools for family reasons so why would he come back? He may not get into Stockport team but on good wages.

A bit of everything.
Playing for Pools is now a last resort.
As Donaldson to Morpeth n Liddle to South Shields can vouch for.
Thats Fact.
Bad culture at the club of replaceing shit with shit or the odd overated has beens.
Maguire - - What was that shit all about. Club needs root n branch restructuring starting at the so called top.

Nobody wanted Byrne when it was first mentioned he might be coming back. Now that Stockport have paid a fee to sign him it's more evidence that Pools have no ambition and only sign "overrated has beens.' And who might that be?? Rubbishing Dolan before he's even kicked a ball for us. If only Donaldson was still here

I bet Byrne was never coming here in a month of Sundays anyway, the rumour mill needs regular oiling and his cameo role was grist to the mill.

do not think its a case of rubbishing players but having the hope of better coming in. that is not going to happen. fans have more ambition at most clubs than many owners have who are tied to what they are able to spend. we would all like a better house and car but we have to taylor our own ambitions to what we can afford. until we do get a new owner who is able and willing to splash the cash we are where we now are.

didn,t he want a move to be closer to the north west anyway, so why would he have had a change of heart moving back to us. wonder if salford fans expect armstrong to return to them.
