as much as 2 weeks ago i would of prayed for this game to be off... now is not the time...

we need to win on saturday with the momentum we currently have and the current form of Newport it may be an excellent time to play them on a cold saturday afternoon at the Vic

Apparently it’s going to be around 4 or 5 degrees on Saturday and what with covers on the pitch I reckon it will be on. I’m looking forward to us continuing our winning run (ok it’s a short run so far, but we live in hope)!

I daren't predict a 2-0 win so I'll go 3-1

Can we manage two good performances in a row? I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Are we going to see another Grimsby Town game? Omar Bogle scores first and we reply. Great if we score more than them. Love to know why he left and went to Newport?

No idea but I wonder if money had owt to do with it? No criticism, a professional footballer's time is limited so I dont blame them trying to earn as much as they can. Bogle will be 30 this July so hasn't got all that long left even if he steers clear of injury. Maybe Newport offered him more than we were able/willing to pay him.

2-0 to Pools.
I hope I don’t regret my outbreak of hope.
Regarding Bogle, from his record, he was ‘Born under a Wandering Star’, so his departure was par for the course.

a lot will depend on the night time temperate tonight and the forcast for friday night. do not know how cold its been up there but covers only work down to a certain temperature. there will be an inspection sometime tomorrow to save them travelling and if in doubt it will be off. you can get 95 per cent of the ground totally fit but the other 5 will call it off. hope it is on though as the same as last friday it could be a good time to play em.

I think if there is any doubt there will be a pitch inspection on Friday to avoid an unnecessary travel for Newport.

think it will happen anyway just to rubber stamp what pools think about the conditions.

Excuse me but they are now called the 4 degrees due to global warming.

His honeymoon peroid seems to be over at Newport also.
Plenty of criticism of him by the Newport fans.

Apart from several goals, his overall contribution on the pitch was as much use as a lighthouse in the Sahara desert.

well i,d rather be playing them now and bogle than earlier in the season. he is not scoring as regular as he was. still going for a 2-1 defeat without him scoring.

It’s a shame, I think we were all looking forward to seeing a continuation of our upturn in fortunes tomorrow. But we will hopefully have a strengthened squad for the rearrangement - onwards and upwards!

get the subbuteo out and play the game instead but be careful of breaking any pools players as we do not want more injuries.

Our lass loves them. We all take the piss and she openly admits they’re rubbish but watches them.
It’s the same old bloody story that comes off the production line…Boy meets girl, boy and girl get on well, girls successful big headed city slicker turns up to whisk her away and shut factory/ Xmas store/ etc, etc, they boy and girl fall out but eventually get back together, ex boyfriend disappears and factory is saved. That’s it ….yawn2
