Doctors told him he had terminal cancer 10 years ago…. He just ignored them and carried on playing.RIP

Was meant to see him at Durham years ago, but he took ill and we didn't get an opportunity to see him. RIP Wilko.

Saw him 3 or 4 times with Dr. Feelgood when they were about as much fun as you could have at a gig. RIP.

I saw Dr Feelgood in 76 at Guildford civic hall, it was my first ever gig and v exciting. I saw him recently in Yarm, at that fancy school where they have gigs, in fact we bumped into him in the car park pre gig as we were early. He was such a star, a brilliant one off talent who rocked till he dropped.
