A lady friend of mine bought me a subscription to ancestry.com as a birthday present and I’ve been delving into my past…. However, the past can throw you a wobbly some times…One of my great, great, great grandfathers came from Ireland and for some reason his prison record in the 1800’s came up in Dublin…..quite a bloke Assault, ABH, GBH. He must have had a regular booking…I asked my youngest son with his police experience about the difference GBH and ABH….. and all I got was….” Not much, they’ll both have hurt!”….. oh dear, be careful what you dig for  I’ll blame it on the family ginger hair.
Anyone else done this and got a shock.

The Loids….can’t forget the electric pomposity of most (not all) Loids, with George’s manic vanity feeding on the fans desire for success, they got a bit carried away to say the least, ……but he didn’t let his lack of knowledge about running a football club get in his way.
Result, disaster as we sailed past them on the inside to eclipse them totally….but, times change, as does football.
