Was that dipped in hot pease pudding and or gravy?

I seem to have vague memories of Newbolds selling something like that....but it was 40 odd years ago?

It's either that or something you shouldn't have been dipping your saveloy in

I've no idea. I really am asking for a friend. I know it has something to do with pease pudding but my mate is a Mackem so will probably eat anything!!

Funnily enough I went on net to see what they come up with and one of the places that did it, was in Sunderland, there seems to be a variation on the theme, as one short fillem showed the saveloy skin being taken off...that is not a saveloy then in my book. But I was in the right track.
