is it just me who hates the practise of naming people before they appear in court for what really are minor offences. at the moment they are not guilty and names should never appear until found guilty.

There always has, but it’s do much worse now.
Generally it was just reported as facts of events, now the media like to scar you for life, especially if it’s against their devious values.

once you only got a criminal record when found guilty. now people have to live with an appearance in court even if found not guilty. there are always some about who will not agree with the verdict and innocent or not that should never be the case.
