The best way to impress guests is to leave a couple of letters/envelopes with "House of Commons" headed stationary on the table.
I have two, one from Iain Wright and another from Jill Mortimer.
Everyone looks but no one draws attention to them. :lol:

I do that….. one from the Gas and one from the Leccy.
But they all wanna know how much mine have gone up…… no one notices the 1982 postmarks.

Got a franked enveloped invite from Prince Andrew when he opened the new HCFE building. The friggers know they’ve outstayed their welcome when I get that out, fnaarf fnaarf.
