May be coming on loan from Leeds next season, according to the Mail and this website which has picked it up:

I think the Leeds lad is a little bit further forward that White or Fletcher but Leeds supporters that I know tell me that they are surprised he is being linked to a Div Two club. They expected him to go to a championship club and thought that Rotherham would fit the bill or perhaps Barnsley in league one.
Personally I would like to see him in a Pools shirt but I think he'll end up higher. If Ph can pull this one off...............

Yeh for a lad warming the first team bench in the prem - id be more expecting him to move to a Championship club or a very good L1 team where hes promised game time - saying that though - the Celt in him may gravitate more towards PH and getting regular football here

think that could be the one and only reason we,d get him. we do not know yet how PH new lads will do, however i doubt we,d have got them all even with challinor or another english manager at the club.

Mr A I think managers coming into a club like Hartley is to Pools and assembling a team in an whole new league tend to opt for known and proven players they have experience of who won’t let him down, just to be on the safe side.
Let’s be honest, if he has no idea how the present Pools squad perform, it’s best he has a core of known performers he can rely on in the early stages of the season till he sees who he wants in the team.
