Tonight was the first time I've been able to watch the full unedited game since a year ago.
I reckon tufc shot them selves right in the foot by letting that player refuse to come off the pitch for 9 minutes with that leg cut. Since that diva scored in injury time we were struggling to get a hold of the ball and looked like conceding. After the prolonged break we got our composure back and competed much better.
From our stand I didn't realise that the injured player had been shouting 'f**k off' at their bench so much, Gary Johnson just looked lost and helpless. Changed the game.
And I'd forgotten what knobs Danny Wright and Virgo are.

What did you think of the two disallowed Torquay goals? Did you think our keeper was fouled for their equalizer?

I know I can exaggerate, equally I remember things more extreme than they actually were

But I swear on my grave that when Covolan scored, Summerton said "and Torquay have won it!". I've looked through a lot of videos of the playoff final and never found this line. But I swear he said it.

I noticed BT Sport on Twitter uploaded the Covolan video for the one hundredth time. We must have absolutely devastated them by winning, especially by doing it on essentially away turf.

for me pools for once did get a bit lucky on the day but its all history now. As for poundshop sports it was more like torquay tv but usually is when their lovely southern boys are playing the nasty northerners.

That's exactly how I saw it Mr. Ed. In the minutes after Torquay equalised you could practically hear the air escaping from the balloon of optimism over the Pools side of the ground. Torquay were all over us on the pitch and the our lads looked like they'd had some of the stuffing knocked out of them. I tried to keep on shouting (there weren't that many who did) but in my heart I thought it was gonna be the Millennium Stadium all over again.

Then there was that ridiculously long breather and afterwards Pools looked more likely to win it in what was left of extra time. Got the bad feeling all over again when it went to pens, but we know how that turned out rolf clappp

I think we got lucky.

There’s no such thing as luck, just chance. We won, they lost
