2-1 pools.....mols fergie.....4300...

ramage is suggesting there was going to be a "celebration" this afternoon and now its all fallen flat?

"This afternoon was meant to be a celebration of what has happened this season before a well deserved break."

Surely not….celebration of what? Do we just celebrate the ‘nice’ bits and ignore the dross?
As for the ‘welcome break’ ….well that started weeks ago when the players brought imaginary deck chairs onto the pitch and gave up.

Celebrate we weren’t relegated again and would have been if we hadn’t had a good start to the season.

Cant see us getting feck all out of this. Played some really good stuff but their midfield is all over feaths - should of had a penalty aswell the ref is crap !!!

Maybe Bogle might get something scruffy but only outlay for us looks like a Mols whip into the top bins

Fela is having spells but also showing his bad qualities with easy passing and foot on the ball leaving alot to be questioned of him. Cant see him being here now past today.

Just need Smith to come on now and ruin the game completely!

They were still up for it, we weren’t. Simple as that.

It was a case of go to the game or do the garden. Should have done the garden.

Incredible turn out of fans in the circumstances but Colchester were much better than Pools just by being workmanlike. That said, one of their goals was a great strike that gave Killip no chance and their keeper made 2 really good saves at the other end.

There's a massive rebuilding job needed for next season regardless of who becomes manager.

If Molyneux is on his bike and maybe Joe Grey too, have we got anything at all up front? It speaks volumes for what a musclebound waste of space Bogle has become that he got subbed rather than Fela. Fela is a tryer at least - but miles below League 2 standard.

We simply can't go into next season with that forward line.

Fela is appalling. That’s it.

……. I dare say, but the whole attitude is appalling on the field.
Over the past two months at matches, we’re like a team turning up for a gunfight armed with a water pistol….that’s our problem.
NO fight, no commitment, no desire and a general image of ‘can’t be arsed’ has emerged with no sign of it getting better.
Aided and abetted apparently by an acceptance of the manager and coaching staff in accepting such behaviour..
In fact I’d say we’ve went backwards over the past six months.
One of my sons listening on BBC Tees said Kyle and the commentator expressed surprise at Lee’s departure, then followed with the comment that Colchester despite there being nothing to play for were certainly 100% up for it. sctatchinghead Doh, yes lads that’s why Lee went, do the maths.

Horrendously oversize attendance for basically a pre season going thru the motions friendly.

had the hope of some reaction after lee,s sacking. all we got was 90 minutes of managing to pass to the opposition. actually had a similar chance to their first goal but managed to cock it up. just a complete waste of a day in my life with hardly anything to shout about or at apart from a ref who gave them anything he could. if only the season had been the other way round with a shocking start and good finish the future may seem a bit brighter.

Agree. Maddening to remember the high everyone was on up to and including extra time against Rotherham. In March!! All the talk was about a late push for a play-off spot. How could that not be in reach when Pools had turned over the likes of Charlton, Wycombe Wanderers, Lincoln City, Bolton and Blackpool? WTF?

One thing's for sure, it's not the fans fault. They kept the faith even yesterday - it was like a revivalist meeting at times. 5,000 people praying for the real HUFC to turn up.

It got to the point where i was praying for one of those on the field bust ups where our players had to be separated by one that did care who took offence to someone that didn,t.
