My idea of best signing entails somebody who performed to a high standard over a reasonable period of time. Hence why I would nominate Tinkler and Humphreys. Although neither have been at their best for the last 12 months they were absolute quality for us for a long while when they were at their best.

For me, Watson, Gabbiadini, Pederson etc were all too short term for them to be considered our best signing.

Most important signing was Gary Strodder, but Freestone and Gary Jones should also be included in good short term signings - even if Freestone only played well for an hour or so against Scarboro......
