Says in mail, Jordan Cook is injured for the remainder of the season. Has he played 90 minutes for us in a competitive match?

lets hope the club will learn from this in the long run. anyone with a history of injuries are not welcome at the vic no matter who they are.

Sounds like he should be in a specimen jar.

He hasn't. Never lasted much more than half an hour in a League game. Another of Challinor's desperate gambles to get a few forwards in - no wonder he did a runner!

Shame for the lad, who definitely has ability, but he hasn't been fit enough to play regularly since the end of 2019!

I’d check out the cupboards and hiding places in the Vic to see if any more of Challinor’s signings are tucked away getting paid.

Wonder how much better off we would be if we gave Oates what he wanted (and deserved) versus handing contracts out to Cullen, Fondop, Cook, Olomola .. maybe a lesson to be learned for the summer.

Yeh totally agree  clappp - unless Oates is on say north of 4 grand a week im pretty sure their combined wages would of sufficed to pay and keep Oates - unless he wanted out for other reasons we will never know a suppose. He would of got 15 goals easy this season setup on our side and playing in a front 3 with Bogle and Mols.
Hope he doesnt come to bite us in the ass tonight which is always a given !

Oates was probably signed up by Mansfield long before the seasons end and we weren’t certain of promotion hence he opted for a league club rather than gamble on Pools going up.
As for the above players, do them up in a bargain bundle and post them to Challinor.....bit late now though.

Tell you what, I’ll bring Ratboy down one day and we can go through the Vic to sniff out any we still don’t know about, he’ll find them, they may be breeding in the wall cavity’s...mind you there is the off chance that DC was creating a home for the incapable, a sort of donkey sanctuary for footballers, he could have put an ad on the telly for us to sponsor them, ....oops, we already are.

to be fair to cullen he did have a good spell and olomola showed something when he played out wide but then was shunted off on loan. would have liked to see cullen play off bogle but i do not think it ever happened.

Lawlor started against Carlisle in the Pizza cup - didnt have a bad game either.

Baffles me how we started the season with a few promising defenders all to be booted (with one now turning out for Bradford and putting in decent displays every week).

Wonder how Fela is getting on at Yeovil - he scored on his second appearance didnt he ? I reckon he would do well as a sub replacement for Grey up top with Bogle. Strong an quick player still relatively young.
