Apparently they are allowing season ticket holders to buy up to six tickets. If that is the case then how many are going to be available for non ST holders come next Thursday. I think it is only right for ST holders to get first dibs but one each would be a fair start.
Can anybody throw any more light on this???

can understand them being offered one extra but six is rediculous if they all took that offer up. we know they won,t but thats not the point. how many will they be offered for the final if we win.

It should be strictly one ticket for season ticket holders and priority being your reward for having a season ticket. Six just sounds a ludicrous number to allow.
There are people who attend matches for years, can’t afford a season ticket but are regulars as far as their finances will allow.

yeh i dont like the fact they can grab 6 at a time - which some will just out of pure greed - expect to see social media a wash with extra tickets for sale close to the game where they havnt been able to get shot of them.

At the end of the day we have got to sell 7000 tickets one way or another. The ground needs to be rammed and loud, if a few miss out so be it.

so sell 7000 tickets and only 5000 attend with 2000 spares hanging around in peoples pockets really sounds a good move from the club if it happened. talk about giving fans extra ammunition to knock the club. will they ever learn.

It creates all sorts of potential anomalies. For instance I know lots of Rotherham fans, what if I bought six and gave five to them. With the current restrictions due to condemned areas of the Rink End it is very possible that Rotherham will sell their allocation and their fans may be looking for more.
I was very surprised when the Palace tickets sold out so quickly and annoyed that we spent all morning trying to get through to the club to buy one each but couldn't get through. I am now beginning to smell a rat.
If the same thing happens with the semi final tickets then serious consequences could unfold.
Of course we will be welcomed with open arms if they are trying to sell loads of final tickets. They might just get a surprise.

You can buy as many tickets you want for any game though, the match is live on tv. The end of the day only 3600 turned up for quarter final will this even sell out? We need as many people there as possible.

Not sure what serious consequences we are talking about? We have never had any sort of real trouble in the ground for years.

Why should 2000 not turn up? I didn't see any gaps at palace.

but how many others watched it on the pools iplayer thing. thats not available this time round. hope its just not a case of selling as many tickets as possible rather than having as many people there as possible.

Raj is a businessman he is all about money, he knows the game is live on sky sports. So straight away he is thinking I need to shift as many as possible as quick as possible, I've not been rajs biggest fan this season but I can't knock him for this and I was one who didn't get a palace ticket on general sale.

For most games there isn't any time delay on who can buy tickets and this isn't just any game. I don't have Sky and because it is on Sky I can't watch it on i follow either. So I need to either watch it at the Vic or venture into a pub full of South yorkshire fans, which do you think is the best scenario in that case.

at the end of the day i doubt any season ticket holder will take up the full offer. the fact is a number will not attend themselves as with most clubs some do not do night games. it aint a fa cup semi but one in a competition where at the outset was regarded by many fans as of little interest. the club must know this so why go out of their way once again to upset fans on an issue thats never really is going to happen.

There was nothing on the website about season ticket holders being able to buy 6 tickets. Looking at this thread just now was the first I heard about it. But when I went online to book, the only seat in the Millhouse Block D that wasn't taken was my season ticket seat! None available in Blocks C or E either, so there's a rabbit away somewhere.

In the end I booked 2 seats in Block B, for me and a mate who lives outside the area who goes to the occasional game with me. He came to the quarter final against Bolton - which, strangely enough, only had 2,500 fans in! That was a really poor turn out - where were all the people who are now desperate for a semi-final ticket?

I'll tell you where I was, I watched it on ifollow at a cost of a tenner, as I have done on other occasions but the semis aren't on ifollow and as I have not got Sky, I decided to go to the match.
I don't support Sky as they are only interested in the premiership and will continue that policy until more of the tv money filters down.
I have bought every game possible on ifollow (home and away) and so contributed to the club that way. All other matches I have paid for the commentary.
All I am asking is for there to be a fairer way of distributing tickets. I don't see allowing one ST holder more than one ticket as being fair.
Finding out what is going on by the back door doesn't sit right either.
Like you say, there's a rabbit off.

Personally I think 1+1 for season ticket holders is fair. The club has our money in August and would struggle without it after a summer of no income.

6 tickets, if true, is ridiculous. Clear, timely information from the website would be preferable - once again

Don't take too much notice of the seating plan at the minute until it goes on general sale it refreshes similar to Charlton game and more should I think become available.

do not have sky but have a smart tv. can get a 24 hour sky sports pass via now tv. i have watched every game in this competition from a screen and being very superstitious about anything to do with football i,ll watch the semi that way. my big problem is going to be if pools win. do i watch the final this way or have possibly my one and only chance of ever seeing pools come out and play at wembley and in my mind jinx it.

The official attendance for the quarter-final was was 2,529. A couple of hundred of them were Bolton. Ain't it funny how 2 games out from Wembley the gate was 2,000 down on an average home league game, but one game out it's cup fever?

Derwent's point that some Poolies will have watched the Bolton game on iFollow is fair, but how many is some? The number of people using iFollow for EFL games seems to be a closely guarded secret. The last statement from the EFL I could find was from over a year ago 12th Jan 2021 in the middle of a lockdown. There were two and a half million subscribers nationally then. Pools don't publish any figures and neither do other clubs.

I hope the Rotherham game sells out but I'm not convinced it will. Plenty of people will have the option of watching on Sky - in the warmth of a pub with beer on tap.

Pools crowds for this competition have been some of the biggest, wasn't it only Wigan who got higher for the quarter final and that was because they made it a fiver for all tickets? I just want to see pools at Wembley once In my lifetime, will we get a better chance?

Pools crowds for this competition have been some of the biggest, wasn't it only Wigan who got higher for the quarter final and that was because they made it a fiver for all tickets? I just want to see pools at Wembley once In my lifetime, will we get a better chance?

and in the earlier rounds also. pools never got a three figure crowd at the vic like many clubs got. the situation could have ended up worse with the semi final being away. there would have been a good possibility of those who have watched every game in this competition actually missing out on a ticket for the glory hunters and those who know somebody at the club.

Yes.
“Now let’s see, one for me, one for me dad who hasn’t been to Pools for years, 1993 I think, hmmmm...ah yes, one for me mam because they always go everywhere together. The wife will want to come, she’s never been to a match before, ...that’s four so far.... ah me cousin Gary down London, I’m sure he had a connection with the club....... ah well, Ah me Uncle Terry, he hates footy but he has a nice new people carrier to take us all down. I’ll have all six tickets thanks”.

or put a voucher on the programme from the first match of the season to increase the sales of them. some could buy 6 every home game then.

3 left in MH and 47 in CK. Scattered around singly now and more difficult to sell.
Looks like a decent response and should get the ground bouncing.
I don't know the position on the Rotherham allocation of 475 but their site said that it was an initial allocation, which I doubt will now be increased upon.
Another gate windfall, plus the chance of a £50k prize which , if we are successful, would lead to a bumper gate final and the chance of at least £50k (Losing finalist) or £100k for winning the trophy.
Sounds good doesn't it.
Lets pull it off.

And more significantly only 1 left on the MH terrace.

Clearly heading for a sell out.

Hi folks
Is your semi final next week? Really hope you get to Wembley as it is really a good day out. May even try to get a ticket myself!
We have Burnley tomorrow and a win will all but guarantee safety but not that confident, we had a good win on Wednesday, always good when Zaha scores against Watford as they hate him and Deeney admitted they practiced rotational fouling against him.
Anyway good luck tomorrow and in your semi final

You and 15000 plus of your mates can be honorary Poolies for the day if we get there.
With the two loudest sets of fans in the country behind our team, how could we lose.
The semi is on March 9th and it's live on sky.
