I watched the game on livestream, my brother in law was like, where are the supporters? Totally embarrassing from Colchester, the ball going into that empty stand with nobody to throw it back. We are one of the best supported teams in league 2 now and it is really pleasing. To the game, I think our possession was 65% for most of the game, yes we were sloppy at times and looked a bit disjointed without Sterry but we kept trying to play patterns and dominated possession. Bogle is a right handful and ultimately was the difference, Joe White is a player beyond his years, he glides when going forward. Colchester are another really poor team, especially defensively, shocking, with not much going forward either.

Another 3 points, another step closer to the leading teams, win at Walsall, just battered by Swindon and we can dream of creeping into the top 7, what with the cup runs, a magic day out at Palace and a semi final with a chance of Wembley, this is a proper season!!!!

Wudent be surprised if we take 500+ fans to Walsall.
Still possible to get to Wembley twice this season. Haven't been sniffing glue just realistic optimism.
UTP.

Colchester seemed to bring in some quality - and at the start of the season where one of the faves for a promotion push.Shows how important fans are to a club - wont of helped the lads out there walking out to near silence - It was like watching a game In Covid times when you could hear the pigeons shitting. They played like a NL team - hoof ball to big man upfront and hope for the best. Sears is well past it too.

they may find themselves clinging on this season and much like we did - fall the next.

crazy when you think about how big of a club Colchester are and where they are. Plus they where championship not too long back. the madness of football i suppose

Kenny Jacket got the sack last night too

Orient were one of the division's form teams when we played them at the end of October. No excuse for Pools getting wiped out 5-0 in the game - Pools were 7th going into it!

It's pretty obvious in retrospect that the players knew Challinor was on his bike before the chairman did and the result reflected how shocked they were.

Considering the damage it caused we’ve come it out of it pretty well.

they certainly knew there was a rabbit away - probably one of the worst games ive seen some of the better lads play.

but onwards and certainly upwards from now on - credit to the lads for turning the season into what it is now.

See Carlisle are now onto their 3rd manager of the season. Sounds like a job for Dave Jones to me

Good mate lives in Colchester (but has been a Spurs season ticket holder for 31 years). He was at their Carlisle game last week but said that Colchester have never been well supported for years even when in higher divisions. Having said that, I was at the game and their "singers" in the top of the opposite end created a good noise for the first hour but faded as we got on top. 180 Poolies at a midweek match 270 miles away was a great turnout although us four only had to drive 91 miles each way!
