Main thing is not to concede instead of playing for offside.

Totally agree. Its the first thing schooled into defenders from the by gone era of propa football. Always told to have a man on each post. Defintely works and would for pools as we aint exactly the biggest of teams in the league.

Unbelievable the amount of goals we concede from corners. Off hand there's Sutton(twice), Tranmere, Bradford, Newport, Mansfield, probably more than that. Yet we haven't scored from a corner all season!

exactly and leave a couple of lads who cannot really defend up field to take at least 3 of the opposition back with them. thats 5 less in the box on corners which could ectually help killip as he would not be crowded in like he is. even with 2 on the post they would not have an extra man in the box as they,d have one extra defender out plus the lad taking the corner. its just a case of fashion again in the game.

Surprised with the knowledge of Spike and Nels that this hasnt been nipped in the bud yet ! our defending of set pieces has been terrible this season. Lidds has saved Killips ass so many times - lacked his awareness on Saturday, thankfully Sutton where hopeless in going forwards.

would be good to get a compilation video of all the goals we have conceeded this season as set pieces and crosses into the box seems to be our failing. get the impression more goals have been conceeded this way than any other.
