'Pitch invader to be punished with a complementary season ticket' -made me laugh.

Kind of feel sorry for them but only because we know what's coming for them.

Paid a visit to their board and I’m now online ordering a stool and rope....God that’s depressing, they appear to have given up and have little faith in their owners.
Best thing they can do is order their A to Z’s of National League grounds ( aka The Doomsday Book)
Bad.

Seems to be even more pessimism there than what was on here back then. Kind of feel for them really I saw one poster saying his friend sells programmes and he's worried if they'll be doing that next season if crowds dwindle, i know that's trivial in the grand scheme of things but those little things can really make people's day and it's part of their life.

Every away game will be an international for them, all while playing bigger clubs like Grimsby, Notts County and Chesterfield all while small clubs (cough like Dover) will be going up there to stall, waste time, be cynical and essentially play like the Wimbledon crazy gang if they were even more negative.

Looking at teams like York, Torquay, Wrexham...no wonder Carlisle fans are so worried.

A lot of games to go before the doomsday bell. I really want Carlisle to stay up as they are the nearest thing we have to derby game these days.

No thanks. Their travelling fans are horrible scrotes. As far as I know Pools are still waiting for Carlisle to pay for the seats in the Rink End they smashed up back in August because the poor diddums couldn't stand losing. They've had a lot of practice at getting beat since then

Someone has to go down, if it’s Carlisle’s turn so be it. Personally I don’t consider them a derby match, their visits would be ok if their fans stayed back at Hadrian’s Wall reinforcing it.
Would I miss them ....nah.

Feel bad for them a bit yet wouldn't miss them, as I said before about them and Barrow they're just clubs who can take potential players we'd sign.

Don’t mind Barrow, don’t mind Carlisle the club, it’s the Carlisle fans.

same with me. one of em owes me petrol money from when i gave him a lift up there for a pools game. never saw anyone get out of a car as quick and never to be seen again. thats with the bastards winning. if pools had won i,d have lost the car and my underclothes as well.

Would laugh and mock them but the fact is it's going to be even worse for them than when we went down. Half of the teams like Wrexham and Chesterfield could buy Carlisle's squad, other half will be more than happy to play a 0-0 at Brunton Park while playing the wonderful art of Kentball (trademark pending).

however much i dislike their fans and one in particular if he still goes i prefer em to stay up rather than colchester or another southern based club where i have no intention ever to see at their home ground.

Pretty much agree Accrington - but Crawley or Stevenage ahead of Colchester. Hate the fans but I quite like Carlisle - and bring back Michael Knighton! Once overheard a superb conversation between Knighton and Gibson which could be paraphrased as 'mine's bigger than yours'. Comedy genius.

What’s to protect any club being bought out and transferred to another part of the country if the new owner so wished. Weren’t we nearly bought by Scarborough back in the day to get Scarborough into the league...?

I'd rather Carlisle stayed up, only club that bring many fans here and our only 6000 crowd of the season.

I’d rather they didn’t, the only visiting fans who appear to cancel out their gate receipts with the chaos they cause.
A bit like inviting someone round to your house because he adds to the ‘atmosphere’ till you realised he’s made a right mess of your house in the process.

you,ll get a good percentage of idiots in every large size of away fans. if we have to suffer stockport next season i have a feeling that they,ll make the carlisle lads look like choir boys. they seem to be really up for the game if it happens. even my lad had a problem last saturday with a couple who asked him where that effing monkey hanging dad was.

He should have told them if you come up here they could go to the fish sands and see where their ancestor met his grisly end.
On a realistic note, if that’s how they talk, they must a tad peeved over something.

At the end of the day how many seats have they ruined? 5? 10? Yet bring over 1000 at 21 quid a go. Or we get borhamwood and they bring 50 up. I think everyone will be up for the Stockport game.

It's obviously quite a few more than that, otherwise Pools wouldn't have taken so many rows out of action. Stockport are welcome to bring as many fans as they like if they come up. Hopefully they'll be able to continue to laugh off any name calling they get from Pools fans in the North West Corner, like every other team we've played in recent seasons apart from those utter knobs from Carlisle.

Anyhow, promotion for County isn't a done deal just yet, despite the likes of Chesterfield doing their best to give them a clear run at the title. And Pools might be in League 1!

Stockport have been achieving low score wins over bottom clubs, interesting to see if they can maintain their form. See no reason why not, but....... there’s always a but.

I don't think it's anything to do with Carlisle why we have had some capacity removed from their.

i just hope the turbulence of the NL will kick in for Stockport - Surely one of the teams just behind them needs a re surging gallop some time soon. They have to drop points somewhere, as the finish line comes into view the likes of Chesterfield and Halifax may well be surprise packages and there is always a Dover out to spoil someones day (looking likely Eastleigh atm)

I can’t stop them coming, I just don’t like them. I think they’ve never got over the days when they were in Div 1 and Div 2 (pre Premiership) and still swagger round living on long past glory, y’know, like the old boxer who used to be someone.
Well they’re heading for the maximum security twilight home in the National League now at speed and the brake pads have crumbled.... from where few escape

Its sad to see how some clubs have declined over the years.
Oldham were founder members of the premier league in 1992/93 and are now 22nd in League 2.
It only goes to show how any club cant rest on it laurels.
Pools came close to disaster with Coxall only a few years ago so lets hope all stay vigilant.

Weird how they class themselves as a big club yet pools are pulling in well over a thousand more than them nowadays, I guess they do have the potential for the one off games of massive crowds. The two clubs do seem to be heading in different directions. I just prefer as many northern teams as possible in our league. Looks like donny crewe maybe Morcambe and probobly a Stockport or Chesterfield next season.

Carlisle still harbour the delusional idea they’re a bigger club than they really are now. Unless they can invent a time machine...Back to the 70’s they’re shagged.

and bradford park avenue as well with their neat attractive ground next to the county cricket one. far better visit to that other dump the other side of the city with its mean strrets and even meaner fans. to be fair on carlisle fans they do support and always have supported their side well away from home and must have the highest percentage of fans that do travel of their home gates.

I have no problem with supporters travelling to support their team, it’s how they ‘support’ their team that bothers me.

I agree, but turning up with a sizeable percentage of wasters in tow carries it’s own baggage. It’s not just inside the ground, it’s outside the ground too, gobshites inside don’t turn into Softee Walter as they emerge from the ground.

was there any real problems in the town or outside the ground with them. Lots of noise and posturing when a load past morrisons but never saw anything else. Quickly existed stage church street en route for seasto straight after the game so saw nothing then.

but surely bill shankley died years ago. have they had a waxworks copy of him installed in the managers office. anyway what do any one expect from their fans when the previous club name was Shagondale United. thought it was a piss take when i heard that, but its true.
