I couldn't find any details on the official site and the Colchester site seemed ambiguous so I contacted Colchester and they've informed me that tickets are available on the night via the ticket machines in the Club Shop. Weather should be ok by then as well.

Wasn't there earlier and it doesn't mention tickets are available on the night.

it does not say anything i could see about the day of the game. but surely its common sense that tickets will be available for a tuesday night game in february for the least attractive fixture of the season.

I wont make this game but will get to have it on Ifollow. Shame as its a really nice part of the country Colchester. The ground is superb for this level and its easy to get too by car. The zoo close by is a fantastic visit also should anyone be making a weekend of it.

Great set of fans aswell. They defintely wont be wanting an inform pools to come and steamrole their little run in either. Can see us snatching a win should sterry be back.

The only trouble with matches like this are Colchester are on the ropes and people think 3 points in the bag...... we’ve all seen it here plenty of times, team on the rocks, getting battered every week and we cop them when the tide turns for them.
I’m not saying they’re going to rise from their footballing sick bed when we turn up, but it makes you wary.... over confidence can be worse than lack of confidence sometimes.

isn,t their new ground miles out of town though. went to layer road once and that was bad enough. thank goodness for ifollow as if anyone wanted to go by train it could be the hardest most roundabout journey to make from the north.

The ground is out of town which makes it easier to get to by car. Train on the otherhand you have a right ballache of a journey on yours hands which will include bus and taxi in the mix too !

Its close to decent enough amenities and premier inn should like i say you make a weekend of it. But like Snowy says its Pool’ luck that they rise from their footballing sick bed so to speak and put a spanking past us. Quite alot of their lads are all ex Ipswich i think and could quite easily be still playing in L1. Very surprised to how their season has turned out

Went once to the new ground, that was enough, a ground miles from anywhere an empty soulless ground with no atmosphere.

With regards to tomorrow nights game we have the possibility of the following out:

- Sterry (unknown)
- Ferguson (illness, may be okay to play)
- Joe Grey (assessing fitness today)
- Joe White (X-Ray Wrist injury)
- Rhys Morris (Anckle injury)
- Bogle (unknown - looked to be carrying a knock on Saturday)

We do not want to rush Morris back into the side if hes carrying something nor risk Bogle. Sterry is a massive miss for us should he still be out.

The team on paper for tomorrow picks itself should all the following not be available. Also looks like we would change the formation aswell as we dont have a front 3 with those players out. Not looking good tbh.

Killip

Ogle - Byrne - Liddle - Odusina - ZFA

Shelton (Fletcher) - Feaths - Crawford

Mols - Carver

Has Crawford done something to upset you?

I mistakenly had Holohan in my head as id just read the article about him being possibly loaned out - Crawford has turned into the player we all needed / wanted. Alot of Notts fans once quoted in saying he was technically their best midfielder - i can totally see why. I wasnt a fan .. ill hold my hands up... now i certainly am - give the lad a 3 year contract please

This is what I have been saying we need to get our better players tied down in longer contracts before the vultures circle at the end of the season or they are offered better money elsewhere.

totally agree regarding crawford. never rated him once as he never used to get involved in games apart from the odd three yard sliderule sideways pass. yjink its been a confidence thing with him more than anything else.

He has been given free reign on how he wants to operate and it shows - i think DC must have had him on a secure leash when he featured under him - hes looking to score goals now from range and get involved, cant ask much more from a young midfielder. Plus hes clean and technically very very good on the ball which helps.

alot of key men out of contract in the summer - wouldnt surprise me if the vultures arnt already sat on clarence road - Scouts do their homework all season and will know fine well who is performing in our team and who is out of contract come July.

I suspect Lee’s regime is a bit more relaxed but has expectations of his players that builds up players confidence.

would not surprise me one bit if there is at least one player we will not see next season who has or his agent has made a decision to move to a new club next season by now unofficially that is.
