Same thing isn't it? A rich mans vanity project with no chance of long term sustainability. The arse end of Gloucestershire with a population of 6000 including cattle and sheep can't be a long term option. 2500 flying at the top of the league after half a dozen seasons of success. Imagine their attendance on a cold Tuesday night in February when they're struggling.

Perhaps those cattle and sheep can become season ticket holders? After all, according to FGR they're the same as humans!

They already are season ticket holders. They’re going for the pork community next season to raise attendances.

I think the owner would do better buying pools off Raj.
This would be the ultimate challenge of a vegan to convert the non believers.

Probably one of the toughest challenges in the Vegan World, getting Poolies to ditch bacon sandwiches, parmos and half lots. Best of luck with that.

Getting most of them to even use the litter bins would be a huge leap forward

FGR top of division on merit.
Its good for the game when small populated towns/villages can live the dream. Hard to sustain over a lengthy period of time.
Thats just football at most levels.
As for a richmans toy (chairman)
Ken Hodcroct
From fantasy football mixing it with the big boys in league one ( almost Championship) to selling us off to a bunch of crooks.
Ya just got to enjoy your clubs good times as n when or if they happen.
UTP.
Snowy i no u will disagree but dont give me the Stockport fan treatment.

Did Ken own Pools?
And I’d never give you the Stockport fans treatment.

seems odd when their owners by word is sustainability but to get there its been on his own back. given the geography of their ground means to get a full house of home fans many have to drive to it in low gear blasting out his hated emmisions up that sodding hill. he has already more or less banned meat eaters who cannot go a couple of hours without anything to eat except what he wants you to eat. next super plan will be electric cars only in their car park. could get interesting if he really follows up what he spouts about.

The most important/awkward point, is that owner becomes God. If the novelty wears off or whatever, your world drops out of your arse as it’s unlikely anyone would want to take on what is basically an experiment in creating a football club from nothing.
It’s just not sustainable without a bigger fan base and resident millionaire.

plus if their owner does leave FGR the number of people actually interested in taking the club over will be vastly reduced if they have far different views than he has. anyone who hasn,t would have to change the clubs philosophy completely if they wanted to throw their money at it.
