Has done his achilles in training yesterday, Graeme Lee says he may need an op', so get well soon and hope he doesn't miss the weekends game as he's a big part of the backroom staff.

it all went very silent about his future.... wonder whats happening with that. Didnt he have a meeting scheduled or something with the board to discuss where he wants to be and what role etc...

Why would there be a meeting about his future sctatchinghead If he was going somewhere else surely he’d have gone by now? Maybe he’s just getting on with his coaching role. Why is there intrigue in everything?

You two aren't going to turn this thread into an effing argument as well. I hope.

I would find the post in the mail / OS but my service is rubbish where i am. But anyways im positive there was something where it stated a meeting was to be held ? my intrigue is simple... i care for the fact Sweens is a top man and a top coach. Dont want him to leave so interested where his future lies post caretaker manager. Albeit it looks to be Hartlepool United at the moment. Happy days

Is this what you were refering to?

"Antony Sweeney has suggested there are discussions which need to be had with regards to his future at Hartlepool United"

The date on that report was 2nd December 2021 ...two months ago.
I suspect we’d have heard something by now, or was it the Mail ‘speculating’...?

I don't think the Mail was mischief making at the time, there were some cryptic comments from Sweeney too. Agree that after this amount of time you have to think no news is good news,
