I'd love to see this rumour come to fruition.

Is Biggins flying to Hartlepool tomorrow to complete the deal?

John Rooney - Stockport - joins Barrow tonight.

Pools in mix for a centre mid. Could we see Holohan go to Stockport?

I think you might be onto something there. Gav was fantastic for Pools last season and is very popular with the fans, but I'm not sure if it would be the end of the world if it worked that way. He hasn't scored for Pools since August and if you take away the goals from his all-round game he's certainly not irreplaceable.

Yeh id like to think we could potentially sign someone like this and start to build a team around new exciting players. It has to happen sometime as Lidds and Feaths aint going to be around forever. No doubt Crawfs has probs now got some admirers aswell. Give that lad a season of football at this level and he could potentially find himself in the Championship. Alot going on all of a sudden at pools and i bloody love it. Cup fever. Good signings- plus add the fact that we are playing well again and gor a result at weekend who knows this transfer might just come off. Utfp !

i would be happy if we got the fleetwood lad that causes holohan to move to stockport. for me he has been quite invisible when he does play plus he is a bit injury prone as well. a change of club could be a good thing for pools and for him.

I wouldnt miss Holohan either - he hasnt quite had the impact i expected and even when under DCs rule at the start of the season he didnt really feature much either which was quite odd - i think the NL is his level tbh. For us to push on we need to be making these sorts of signings in Biggins.

Another one fresh off the press today is we have enquired, and being knocked back by Oldham for Piergianni. Can see this being a replacement for Lidds long term. Again looking at the future, seems a very good bit of business. Surely the guy doesnt want to be stuck at Oldham. Be a good signing for us that as he was instrumental for Salford. Still only 29 aswell.

could be a good little day today my fellow Poolies - expect the unexpected atm. I reckon a GK and another defender will come in.
if we are lucky we may see Biggins too.

Hologhan is one player in the team with an eye for a goal surely we got to be looking at keeping him.

Apparently Mansfield have now made a late bid for Biggins.

Just had a look at our remaining home fixtures and apart from Barrow, who are all up next, they're all clubs in the top half of the table. Probably just as well, Pools play better when both sides are trying to win all 3 points.

yeh i seen that - im presuming hes only hitting peoples radars as his contract is up in the summer. If hes so good why havnt Fleetwood offered him a new deal. Or does he realise hes too good for that level and wants to challenge higher up. Mansfield ... like they havnt shit on us already twice this season (one being that late winner and the other the Capture of Oates).

To be fair, I never really believed a player of this quality would sign for us. I mean why would he when there are so many alternatives?

I doubt we will see the Arrival of Biggins but i still think there is a shock signing to be had today.

we are clearly still trying to bring in Defenders and attack minded midfielders - no doubt we will see a loan arrival of either.

then a GK to wrap up the day nicely !

Similar to when Traore was linked with all manner of clubs - only for it to be the agent creating rumours. I reckon it'll be the exact same with Biggins who will then join a team in the top 6 of the division.

Fondops agent could sell sand to the arabs wow ! it baffles me how clubs at this level can even look at him. There wasnt a single moment of his short Pools career which would/could warrant him a move still at this level. There is lads who play Wearside league who id class more technically gifted than him. Funny owld game !

but yeh this a feather ruffling exercise on behalf of Biggins - clubs show interest, Fleetwood offer him a deal he cant refuse, or a top 6 side like you say comes in for him.

also in other news i see a certain Dave in the mix at the Bookies for the mackem job.

Nah, the travelling would be too much for him. All that motorway driving....just too tough. Probably have a detrimental impact on his family life. Anyway, Stockport are a far bigger club than Sunderland.

I’d love it....Sunderland have been cursed since they got rid of their old badge and got a poncey chav one to complement the new Stadium.

We're leaving it a bit late, still waiting for a last minute flurry.

The Bogle announcement was a late one the other night you never know

Twitter has gone very silent on the transfer front compared to this mornings mumblings.
