Featherstone doesn't go into it full pelt but his foot is high. An appeal would be a waste of time I think.

To be fair, it was over in a flash, but how the ref saw anything is a mystery, with the player milking it and the home fans howling at the moon for a sending off.

Worth an appeal, both going for the ball. The Exeter man got a yellow later on for his involvement in a similar challenge. Obviously a nark.

more a case of dangerous play to me after watching it a few times. nothing pre meditated in the challenge but its modern day football so that never comes into it nowadays. if it had been one of their players i,d equally think he was a bit hard done by. so many sending offs now that will not clean up the game but spoils it for fans who want to watch 11 v 11 with match officials being in the background.
