ARTETA: AZEEZ AND JOHN-JULES LOAN DECISIONS TO BE MADE NEXT WEEK

Miguel Azeez and Tyreece John-Jules will head out for a second loan spell.

The Gunners recalled the midfielder and attacker from Portsmouth and Blackpool respectively having grown concerned by their lack of game time.

Would they get in Lees starting 11 week in week out.

Raj said he’s looking at prem loans.

Would they leave the bright lights of London for the frozen North? I mean, we haven't even got a tower or a Golden mile let alone a port full of sailors.

Not too sure where Loan players are homed these days but a friend of mine bought a property in Wynyard a few years back of whom the previous owners rented the house to a bunch of Pools players. Not too sure if it was Hartlepool the club forking out the rent or some other entity. Also we used to have alot of players living down the marina. Sure most rent in Ingleby or Yarm way now anyways. So technically the loan players would only step foot in Hartlepool on a home match day - Durham for training. There is much worse parts of the country to be plying ones trade.

In all honesty - havnt heard of either - IF they aint making headway in those teams whats to say they will get into ours. Would they be simply nice to have's ?

Wrexham just paid £300K for a player from Wimbledon. Then of course his wages which I would guess at least £3K a week. Looking at his record nothing to shout about but that’s the going rate for 6ft+ strikers.

Yes i seen that last night - another marquee signing which wouldnt go a miss in our league tbh - i cant see them getting promotion still either.

but rightly so - if you want the big man upfront you are paying top dollar for him -

See the Other Quigley (Joe) has joined Chesterfield aswell from Yeovil - Hell on down there though if anyones seen whats going on with their manager. Heard hes a right dick but fair play to what he has done there since his arrival. (fancy a job at Pools pal ?)

Paying that they will end up the next Scunthorpe, Oldham, Bradford, Portsmouth etc. 30 years old. Chesterfield hit the jackpot with their £100,000 for Tshimanga. We can't compete with the non regulated transfer fees of the National League.

The lad Wrexham has signed has scored 8 goals hardly prolific. Give me tshimanga any day of the week. In fact I'd take the other forward at borhamwood over what Wrexham have signed.

has he created chances and space for others though. just the type of player to suit the present pools set up. how good tshimanga would be in an average or poor struggling side is interesting. he seems to score plenty of goals in a good side but i,m not sure his work rate would be good enough with a poor side when not getting the scoring opportunities he is used to getting. would he have scored for pools last saturday playing along side of cullen or mols.

very good point Accrington - i watched him alot whilst at Boreham, again when Chesterfield played Chelsea. His game is different to that of the type of striker we are needing just now - either way he gets goals as shown now in a good side where the play runs through him. Should he setup in our formation in this league i dont think we would see the return we would hope. Dont get me wrong i wouldnt be upset if we signed him by any means. But for what his market worth would now be, i feel there is others to suit us better.

you just have to look at the NL top scoring list / assists list and most would currently walk into our team. Wonder if we ever enquire about any of these players ? Im hoping the lad from Gateshead comes in on deadline day and him and Carver up top can strike a partnership we havnt seen since the days of Gordon Watson - Williams - Boyd

No need to delve back so far - a partnership like Oates and Armstrong would do just fine

not bothered as long as they are even 2 big donkeys who can do a job. more like 2 small players who are good with the ball and no better than similar lads we have already on the books.

Lee quoted in the Northern Echo as saying he expects a couple of signings to be announced today so let's see if you're info is good.

We won't be hearing that Burey is coming back, but Millwall are very happy with his loan experience at Pools:

“His performances have warranted that he’s in the mix for a starting place,” Rowett told NewsAtDen. “His performances off the bench have shown enough to at least put him in a position where he’s challenging for that.

“Of course he’s a young player that we think a lot of and I would suggest that he would stay with us.

“It’s quite interesting because Tyler came to see me the other day and showed a bit of confidence, he feels he’s ready, he feels he’s worked hard, he feels he’s learned a lot in the short spell at Hartlepool. And that he’s ready to step up."

Linked with Bradford keeper O'Donnell on twitter and he wasn't in their squad last night.

good thing about that is that we might be high up on there list if they have another decent player they want to loan out now or in the future.

Yes i seen the O'Donnell link aswell - would be happy with that if we signed him permanently. Killip again was at fault for their first goal last night. Apart from that he had a good game and saved the penalty yes, but for me we still need a new No.1.

Millwall have a raft of young good talent similar to Burey - few are actually out still on loan. We have definitely shown Millwall we are a good bet for them to send us their players, hopefully others have clocked this too and get that same confidence from other sides higher up too.

there is a rumblings of a perm signing im hearing also but i do have the feeling its the GK. You would hope the Boro incomings are all attack minded, one being a MF.

one of the Boro players rumoured to be coming to Pools (Sam Folarin) just loaned to Queen Of The South in Scottish Championship, would of been a quality addition for us that.
