..on a three year deal.

Surprised they have given him such a long contract, it's a bit of a risk for them if you ask me

Then again Carey has described him as being "a clever and bright footballer"

Now I always thought Proctor was a 100% battler, but clever and bright are not two words to describe him on the football pitch.

So now we are left with with only one of Martin Scotts inspired summer signings of 2005, and to be fair he even though Bullock gets stick, he did do a job at times last season.

It speaks volumes for the Barry Chuckle reign of terror that we have as many of his signings in the current squad as we do Mick Tait signings!!

Better than Effion yet no-one seems to complain about getting rid of Proctor

Proctor seems like a con artist . Having said that, he was impressive for York against Pools in that 0-0 draw a few years back, and once or twice he produced the goods when it mattered (eg Bristol City away the season before) but the overall impression he gives me is that he can't be bothered, and that it's all a bit beneath him.

Funny you should use those words Parmo - wor lass at her second game ever - Port Vale last season- said "That blond bloke thinks he's better than everyone else and this is all a bit beneath him doesn't he .... But really he's just sh1t isn't he ?"

Cue "She's got a point there like ... " mutterings from all around us.

This was just before he pulled back Tony Sweeney who was closing down one of their defenders.

Can't say I'll shed any tears

It is to compensate for the big wage cut he has taken to join Wrexham in the first place :-o
Any idea what his wages were at Pools?

how many of them 7 goals went in off his arse from a yard out ?

he genuinely did think he was too good to play for us at first. then i think it slowly dawned on him that those 3 games he played for sunderland in the premiership were all his career amounted to and everything since then had been dross.

a complete and utter waste of money and i said that in monkey business within 3 months of him signing for us.
To be fair Chip ...you said that about every signing .....

I heard he was well paid, mind you on ability £200 quid a week would have been a rip off.

For the sake of it lets say £2,000 a week. £208,000 in wages, 7 goals. Nearly £30,000 a goal then.....
