I am not sure if anyone was aware of the health of Graeme Lees wife,

The Keys Yarm, Nightclub.

A Merry Mixmas night for Gemma Lee
Bank holiday Monday December 27th from 9pm until 2am
Tickets £15 with every penny going towards Gemma's treatment.
Gemma Lee is battling terminal brain Cancer.
Gemma is from Middlesbrough, Wife to Graeme and Mum to two young Children.
We would like to do what we can to help raise money to help.

agree essex especially for those unable to make the do for different reasons. do not prey but does not stop me hoping for some luck and a bright light at the end of the tunnel.

What a dreadfully awful piece of news. We're all with you the Lee family and will help where we can.
If it has Graeme and Gemma's approval, can I suggest a bucket collection at the Vic and the creation of a just giving page to be set up by the club so those people who can't get to the Vic are able to contribute.
This tragic news is close to home, Poolies. It involves the wife and family of one of our own, so let's get at it.

Bloody hell - hope things are still as positive for Gemma now as they were then.

Lovely to read about the part played by James Coppinger - he had two brilliant loan spells for us around the turn of the millennium and i was gutted that Pools couldn't sign him permanently. He went in to play 80-odd times for Exeter and 614 games for Doncaster Rovers, only finally hanging up his boots from them in May this year.

Agreed, I wont be able to go to the event but would like to make a donation of the price of a ticket.

And moan about the NWC which some people can’t understand is a Health and Safety issue, would they rather see a an accident or even a fatality ?

The drug that Graeme personally drove abroad to get, stalled the progress of the disease, let's hope that's the same situation today. Imagine the stress of not only being pools manager, but having a wife with cancer.

I hope the fans do something for him, the gesture by Doncaster was incredible.
