I had Brazil and Sunderland from memory, at the time (about 1983-86) they were playing a very similar style of football.

But what about Subbuteo Cricket.

And Subbuteo Rugby.

I have them both in the loft.

I didn't even know you could get them were they very popular I can't seem to recall them at all.
Can't remember what teams I had only that they were all covered in Bluetac by the time I had my second match!

What about striker were you pushed the players head to kick the ball if you were shit at subbuteo you got striker to practice on ahhh those were the days.

My first ever conviction was for shoplifting Subbuteo from Leslie Browns in Stockton High Street. I had a right racket going on selling teams to kids at school until old bill ruined it.

I was only twelve....... :-( :-(

Without a doubt.

Sportsworld in York Rd, Church Square before that.

Sportskit further along York Rd next to where KwikFit is now, ran by a tall baldy bloke.

Dixon's Sports in the Town Centre next to the Chippie upstairs, opposite KwikSnax, featuring the Woman with the glass eye, who would be looking at the Aston Villa Away kits while you were asking for a Southampton Home shirt! :uhoh:

Was Dixon Sports the same as Inter Sport, Inter Sport was where Fawcetts butchers is now or the shop next door.
