rattling noise

I've got this rattling noise coming from somewhere at the back of my car, thought it was my exhaust but it isn't. any ideas?

Could be something simple like the wheel changing tools not secure in the boot *shrugs shoulders*

more of a tin can rattle than a rattle snake rattle (they are really quite quiet)
