I see in a BBC article Man United and others are getting criticism for flying to away matches even when the journey by road is only 80 miles.
I am proud to say my club would not get involved in such environmentally destructive practices.

I went by plane to Exeter and to Swansea away games with the team back in the Gibson era.

Went to Lisbon a few years back with the Company for a long weekend and as there were about 60 of us, we had to go on 2 separate flights, in case the plane crashed and we were all perished!

Got the short straw and was on 2nd flight which landed at Oporto (for refuelling, so had to get out of plane) and got to Lisbon about 3 hours after the 1st flight.

Same happened on return flight with a stop at Oporto.

4 flights when 2 would have done.

I see HS2 expansion to Leeds has been cancelled so that means a boost to Leeds/ Bradford Airport.

do not worry. there will be someone somewhere who will buy as many of those boilers as they can, re furb them and join the black economy. the same will happen for diesel cars in the future. anything thats banned or illegal there will be ways to find what you want.

Even worse is that Tesco has reduced the range of its own brand wines which are generally cheaper and have increased the price of the others by 50p to £1.00.
