Of all the names being bandied around & although relatively young at 37, the current Halifax Town manager Pete Wild is the name that jumps out for me, doing really well on a shoestring budget, despite loosing his best players in the close season to predators (us being one with Byrne), he has recruited wisely, with very limited resources & HT are currently riding high. If he could be tempted by (admittedly) a hostile approach, I think he could be a good fit, getting himself an Instant & probably very significant pay rise, back in the EFL, with a club 3x bigger than HT,.... but knowing RS, probably not much more to spend in relative terms.. Compo would probably be required to HT, but we will likely receive that anyway from Shitport.

Also open to this suggestion. Doing a fairly remarkable job at Halifax.

Some good managers at that level, wild, Garrard, McMahon, Parkinson, Rowe etc. Just depends weather Raj wants league experience or someone hungry to challenge themselves at league level.

I seem to remember we recruited a very successful non league manager not that long ago.

I'd rather a wild or Garrard than someone like Adkins that's for sure

We've got a manager with Poolie blood running through his veins, let's get behind what we've got. He's one of us.

I’m not 100% Sweens will want it. I bet he enjoys cutting his teeth as a coach and learning than potentially being hired, fired and then out of work.

See … hignett, bates etc.
