Tight game and I reckon a draw would be a good outcome, a win unbelievable Jeff!!!

1-1 Cullen.

Yes 1/1 me too.

Featherstone piledriver from 20 yards and gets man of the match winning a bucket of jellied eels.

1-2 to Pools. With Stockport County celebrating their 10th successive year outside the EFL I’d like to think they can grab a consolation as they experience a 3 - 1 drubbing at Dover.

Me too. Some people have very short memories. Pools' promotion season would have been The Season That Never Was if other teams had followed Dover's example when they stopped fulfilling their fixtures in the NL last season.

We owe the likes of Kings Lynn a big thank you for playing on. Hope Dover finish up in the Isthmian League where they belong.

I think they are a pack of useless “see you next tuesdays” but the fact they play the dogs this weekend i hope they batter them ! Then bugger off as a club and never to be seen again. Truely a bunch of farmers playing a game they shouldnt be !

Aaah, their 10th Anniversary ...I believe it’s the TIN anniversary.... so very appropriate for a tinpot club.

Jamie still out, Ogle takes his place. Mitchell keeps his place. Hendrie, Lidds and ZFA at the back. Ogle and Fergie wingbacks, Feaths, Gavan and Daly in midfield. with Cullen and Mols up top.
Decent looking side. Come on Lads.

2 nil down.
Terrible away form but why not score 3 in the secondhalf?

Genuinely think the players know DCs leaving. Morale must be very low. Only hope is Bruce can perk them up when he arrives next week.

Unfortunately you are always due a hiding in this league. Add to that players being out. I just didnt expect it from Leyton Orient after last weekend. Never mind we go again tuesday and crack on in the cup. Bad day at the office. Just hope its our last big defeat.

At 2-0 I switched the radio off and went to watch England thrash the Aussies in the T20. Had a feeling it was going to be one of those days for Pools.

This weekend last year we lost 5-0 to Torquay so we can now look forward to beating Orient in the play-off final next June.

Dave Challinor's post-match comments on Radio Tees:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0b19yfz

From 9 minutes on he addresses the Stockport rumours - without really saying anything one way or the other.

thats true. usually teams get one hiding in a season and do the same themselves to another club. it always happens when you least expect it. at least we have a couple of weeks off from league games to get players back and fit. not overly bothered about the next two results. if we win we win but will not lose a minutes sleep if we do not.

Man City n Liverpool dropped 5 points between them yesterday at home.
Unpredictable game which the Bookies are well happy with.

Poor result poor tactics looked a poor team. Too many players hiding no defense, overrun in midfield and weak up front.
