Over the past year I’ve been buying two books a week to read, all reference, history or biographies. You buy some books that appear promising, but the author’s style is dire and after less than a chapter I literally bin them, but two books I decided to read twice, they were ‘Mussolini’ by Christopher Hibbert and was drawn into what I thought would be a dire read but it was quite intriguing and even felt sorry for the Chocolate Dictator at the end. The other was ‘Hitler and Stalin’ by Laurence Rees, the two tyrants were hard to distinguish apart at the end and having read two autobiographies on Stalin knew what to expect but was still shocked by the man.

I think I saw that on the ‘Landfill Books’ website.... I think it was called ...WHO? ME?... reviews of this self deluding cobblers said......

.....“ the story of a misunderstood man, a victim of cruel fate” his mam.

.....” Anyone got his address? ”. Mad Dave.

.....” He could have took them to the Premiership” Fantasy Island Guardian.

.....” A stunning read ..... if you’re gullible .” Jimmy Jazzmag

.....” Now living in a cave in Tibet, a survivor who can’t go back.” Rambling monthly.

The Coxhall book will be named "Pools.... my part in its downfall"

His headstone will read "I told you i was bent" in Gaelic of course.

With a nod in the direction of Spike Milligan

One thing the puzzles me is the end of the Ice Age, which in relative terms is not that long ago, as there were a minimal number of people on earth, how did the great thaw begin, was it Freddy Flinstone and Barney Rubble tear arsing around in their ‘cars’...... sctatchinghead ...or maybe the earth has it’s own thermostat.
