Watched a TV programme about his career just recently. A wonderful goalscorer and a man who turned his life around after succumbing to the curse of alcoholism. RIP Jimmy.

Aye RIP Jimmy Greaves. A nice, genuine funny guy as well as a good footballer. His partnership with Ian St John was a lesson in how to entertain an audience.
