just wonder who will be left out because of the lawler signing. doubt he,d come to pools as a back up player. just hope they do well at pools to give us a bit more hope this season.

Interesting how this season DC has made sure he has covered his Defence - think it was lessons learned from last season. Still need a GK though, those 2 we have on trial atm i can see one of them maybe getting a contract. But are they any better than what we have? Hoping for an experienced league Keeper tbh.

like you say, where will Lawlor fit within the side ? Byrne for me looks likely to partner Lids on the left hand side with Timi possibly the other. Glad we have the option of Ogle on the bench as hes seemed okay from what ive seen so far. May just be another experienced CB to take the pressure of Lids. Because can we see Lids playing as much as he did last season at this level (without injury).

from what I have seen (and heard) ogle would be in the starting 11 for me.....unless it's choice between him and odusina in back 3 as they both offer pace
