"Early evidence suggests lower forces are produced when a ball is thrown to a player rather than kicked"

Wow - these experts have really unearthed an amazing fact there - NOT !

Ok, I accept that some players have suffered with long-term medical problems through heading the old heavy balls, but come on.....

"It is recommended that heading practice is limited to 10 headers per session and only one session a week where heading practice is included."

How about, if it hurts you on the head, jump two feet higher & take it on the chest. Oh no, that could lead to breast cancer !

ban heading, ban tackling, ban running too fast and ban goals as well. the mental health of the losing team has to be seriously looked into for their future lives. 21st century progress, i give up. lets get at motor sport next. to stop the accidents lets alter silverstone to have speed bumps, mini roundabouts with a 30 and a 20 mph speed limits on it. also the drivers to have time penalties if they are caught in a speed trap or their cars immisions are over a certain level.

The way it’s going you’ll all be tucked up in bed and you’ll play a virtual game on your device...... then they’ll complain of bed sores.

What the people campaigning for this aren't taking into account is, footballs are completely different now to what they were in Jeff Astle's day.

well i for one would have swapped jeff astle,s job for mine anyday even if it did knock a few years off his life. its not how long you can live but its what you do whilst you are alive. far too much time spent on increasing peoples lives when really they have had enough themselves. my old man died at 87 and kept saying he,d had enough and was bored. anyone who has had pets know when its time to take em to the big kennel in the sky by their actions.

You can’t take your dad to the vets because he’s bored, get him an hobby, sky diving, something to put a breeze up his trousers.. I mean just imagine you’re sat at home with your lass and Pools are on the telly, important match and as it kicks off she says “I’m bored”....... will the vets come out and pick her up?
