For me he's the most integral person at the club. Looking at just where we were before, it's not an understatement to say he completely revolutionized the club. I'd even go as far to say we would of made the playoffs in 19/20 had the pandemic never happened, minus the Ebbsfleet game we were in a great run of form.

From 16th and 15h beforehand. To 12th in half a season and 4th plus a playoff win. Challinor essentially turned a trabant into a ferrari in a season and a half! Not to mention in a pandemic where countless other clubs like Stockport and Chesterfield were splurging money.

at least he says things as he sees it at the time he speaks. it does give you a lot more confidence than many of those who went before him. saying what fans want to hear is very easy. at least we now have a manager with some ability to match his words.

wish i,d have posted that. for me he renewed my faith and interest in pools to the extent of watching 3 home games on the trot. something i,d never done for years by finding an excuse to go to games and not looking for ones not to attend. did have doubts about his appointment as after being at money bags fylde i thought he might have found things much different at pools without that cushion.

My ERM point is just a tongue in cheek remark. It was an excellent interview by an excellent coach giving a lot of assurance to supporters.
