Struggling to get excited. I think it's because the Torquay game can't be beaten for excitement. I suspect I'm emotioned out.

Sick of watching Kane run all the way back to take a ball off a defender then pass it to the keeper. WTF!!!!!!

Germany will win the whole tournament now, of course in typical fashion they'll need each game to go to penalties. Absolute shambles that you theoretically progress despite not winning a game.

Hungary shown determination, heart and bravery and have nothing to show for it. One of many reasons I'm done with the cancer known as modern football.

Also very ironic to see Germans giving Hungarian people abuse due to their government's view on homosexuality. I'm very very sure the german government never had any controversial views on homosexuality? Eh?

as long as the winners of the thing play fluid attacking football, not worrying about possesion stats and making the odd mistake it will do for me. england winning the thing will only add to teams copying the style of nicking a goal and having an excellent defence. does anyone want to watch those types of games throughout next season.

honestly i could not give a damn. was interested in the competition at the start but the media hype has completely turned me off. you just cannot get away from england this, southgate that. you do not mind regular fans talking about it but those who never see a game live from one season to another get my goat. if these in the media ever see a game you know quite well where it will be and it wont be the vic, the wham or even field mill. there are more important things for me to think about in football. who will pools eventually sign.

The important match was at Bristol. If England win all very nice, but if we lose I won’t be stressed.

If England win there will be calls for a Bank Holiday, a knighthood for Southgate etc. yes a great achievement to reach the final but it’s in your face on the radio, tv and press every 5 minutes ! I believe it’s a German ref. On VAR with Dutch officials.

I couldn't care less about the predictable media hype - epitomised by that Ulster tosser Nolan on late night Radio 5 Live trying to stir up a bit of controversy on his talk show by asking whether Scots, Welsh and Irish fans 'should' be supporting England in the Final.

Looking forward to tonight's game though and will be watching with friends. There have been some great matches in the knock out stages, not necessarily involving England, but this current side always has a goal in it and, like Pools in the play offs, that can win you games.

I had £20 on Italy at 8-1 before the tournament started and those nice bookies have already given me £70 for them getting to the final. Though the Italians are the better side I'll have no problem rooting for England, and if the worst happens I'll have the rest of the dosh, so win-win.

I think if you lived in the afore mentioned countries and were not English you would be concerned about the media hype and national radio stations continually playing World in Motion song, the person is a late nigh radio presenter who in general go out their way to promote controversy.

Mr.Horden is at tonights game with his son after applying for and getting tickets at the start of the tournament, being offered four figure amounts for them but he's determined to go, I said I'd sell them and watch from Covent Garden on a big screen with an array of expensive drinks in front of me.
Then again a never to be forgotten experience.

Thanks, but I know how shock jocks make their living. As for the 'Celts' they can just suck it up and get the prayer mats out for an England loss. Though if England do win, the Scots will see it as some sort of vindication of their pathetic re-entry into the later stages of international football competitions.

i still can but was nearly 20 at the time. watched the game at my then girlfriends house with her parents. far different type of day than yesterday. if you were not at the game your only opportunity was to watch it on the box at home or someone elses. afternoon ko time on a saturday well before the all day boozing culture took over with evening starts.

know they still do puppies but do people still do airfix kits anymore. something i thought that might have gone out with subbuteo or lasses playing hop scotch and skipping.

Yes, but it’s f**king expensive...... nine quid for a two bob kit, for starters. I’ve given up on the hopscotch but the skipping gives me hope. The subuteo teams have had that many coats of paint to update their strips they look like a bunch of obese Beckhams.

Biggest hero's for me were those stepping up for the penalties.

We did very well getting yo the final but the luck was not with us on the day unlike for us against Torquay. Then the penalties remember Richie Humphries in the play offs and how upset he was the players did not do it deliberately. Then the racist scum come out of the woodwork with this hatred to their own team and down to the colour of their skin shame on you all no place for this in football or society.

yes, english hero,s when it suits em black guys when it goes wrong. unless locals who know him better than i do why is marcus rashford always the super villain. a mural where he was brought up in manchester has been destroyed now. could not give a flying one if pools had a all black, all pakistani, all chinese or all white local lads as long as they were a bloody good team.
