What a pile of shite! Overpaid, overpriced players managed by a dullard, clueless manager.

I was not impressed either. Wish I had watched C5 at 9 pm as there was a good programme about Constables Hay Wain presented by Andrew Marr.

Southgate is obviously a decent guy, knows how to handle the media and connects well with the players presumably. I’m not convinced about his tactical nouse though - watching England is like watching paint dry, which is surprising given some of the players he has at his disposal.

firstly england did not lose. secondly why must there always be an inquest when they dare not win a game. its as if the international team has a god given right to always win. manager needs to go, drop the unpopular players etc. etc. listening to the news this morning you would have thought scotland actually won the game. if england were that bad then so were the scots who actually created less goal scoring opportunities. they shoed more desire but that was it.

Awful.Rather than run in to 30 yards of space the right back passed it backwards. Same with the lad from leeds. I’ve seen worse but at Wembley against the Scots it was all pretty lacklustre. Like for like subs didn’t help either. We didn’t lose but tactically we didn’t cause them any real problems.

I'm not convinced that the game wasn't thrown to allow Scotland a point.

I hope the England camp have just watched the Germans demolish Portugal. Four goals in 25 minutes, a great example of passing and moving - and they get their forwards in the box unlike our centre forward who spent most of last nights game near the half way line...

think a lot to do with that is having to win that game with the possibility of going home if they didn,t. england only really had to avoid defeat in the game which they did. think its something in our mentality that many think, not in the international side but their league side, that the avoidance of a defeat is the main thing and as fans accept drawn games too easily.
