I predict I'll have a good day.

Don't they play in yellow at home?

4-2 to Torquay. We'll be 2-1 up and just after ten minutes to go, one of our central defenders will make a rash challenge and give a penalty to equalise. Our defender will be sent off and they'll score two more in extra time.

Will it be a poor refereeing decision or a conspiracy?

From the Torquay forum;

"The caterers at Ashton Gate will have to stock up with prawn sandwiches, the posh middle class Tory voters of Hartlepool will not put up with ordinary fare. What is the dress code? I assume smart casual"

"Bolly for them I suspect. I imagine Eton will empty for the day"

Anyone know who the ref is. My one main worry is that it will be some little tit like Phil Crossley who will give them a soft penalty or give one of our boys a red card. Don’t want any favours just an honest unbiased referee.

3-0 We'll be comfortable for a change! Goals from Oates (of course), Armstrong (due one) and Featherstone (MOTM)

To The Hartlepool 2-0. Oates and Johnston. Lots of gulls present plus those from Torquay. Pierre Luigi Collina ref who gives Pools a penalty and sends off one of theirs. HMS Trimcomalee blocks Torbay if the unthinkable should happen. Sure it will be OK for the Monkeybutt final. Rest in peace true Poolie.

1-1 then pools score 2 in second half of extra time as our superior fitness counts. Armstrong with the first, my boy Rhys with the second and then a 30 yarder from Donaldson in the top bin seals it after a cut back from feaths.

I'm going for 4-0 to us. If we get at them from the start, we will murder them.

Was ref when we won 1-0 at Torquay and when we lost 3-0 at Sutton in May. Let’s hope he does not do anything stupid

Shitting myself.

What makes it 100 times worse is I can only watch it on tv.

If I'm there I always feel alright. Safety in numbers or some shit.

I almost don't want to watch it.

Exact same problem here. Could hardly sleep last night and when I did I got about 4 hours.

That's why I've always refrained from watching football on TV, just feel helpless and stressed out over it.

Aye, it's fucking awful.

Stomach churning, can't concentrate on anything for long. It's fucking daft really. I also can't help thinking about the fall out if we don't win.

I've always felt if I'm there I can make some sort of difference or at least suffer with people going through the same emotions.

In the house I'll be up and down like a fucking jack in a box. My lad will be watching with me but it's just not the same. Nowhere near. I'll see the Poolies who have tickets and be thinking 'I should be fucking there' and might have a little paddy or sulk.

Bastard.

Just fucking win Pools. Please.

I think it'll be a single goal either way. I'm not confident in which direction though. Nervous but hopeful.

Echo the experience of others.

Couldn't sleep last night, stomach in knots, and I'm smoking industrial quantities of tabs.

C'mon Pools, beat these bastards...!

Great first half performance but not sure why that goal was disallowed. 1-0 is a fair result at the moment though.

But Virgo said it was only a little foul so it can't be one.

In fairness, a difficult one for the referee.

Seen the replay, definite foul for Torquay's disallowed goal. And a silly one as he didn't need to don it.

Terrified for the second half.

bleeding torquay time yet again. big few minuted for challinor to lift this side now. if pools pull this off now it must rank as one of the best results since 1908. everything is now against us.
