Monkey-Hangers v Bwomley

Come on Bwomley(!!!).....wipe that smirk off Challinor's fizzog..

Smash the Oiks, Rah, Rah, Rah!!!!

I hope Bwomley do it, obviously if they win at Hartlepool they'll be tough opposition but I'd still rather play them, I hope Chesterfield beat Notts too.

I think Chesterfield and Hartlepool will win.

Honestly think the playoffs are anyone’s.

I don't read it as anything more than that poster doesn't fancy facing Pools in the semi final. Not surprising really - Stockport took 4 points off Bromley in the regular season and only 1 off us - and that needed a 78th minute equaliser.

surely the rivalry between me and my son has not developed in the rest of em. think they thought they were cheated at the vic earlier this season by the ref. they had a point i suppose. then they hate dave challinor, not the most popular ex player plus he managed fylde who they hate to a man. on the whole they are a decent lot who have suffered much as fans as pools have and even longer. why any of them want a team similar to them to be beaten by a non league southern obscurity is beyond me especially with their home record against pools.

No rivalry, I think the majority of us see you as a bigger threat than Bromley. As mentioned above we took 4 points off Bromley and only 1 off you.

I don't think many County fans have an issue with Pools at all, although you're right about the general dislike of Challinor. He replaced one of the most popular centre backs and captains in the club's history, generally was nowhere near as good, and ended a young Martin Pringle's career with a horror tackle - should have been a red but when the ref only gave a yellow Carlton Palmer immediately subbed him off. That's before you get onto our recent "rivalry" with Fylde.

Stockport v Pools it is then. Anything can happen now, including a Notts County v Pools play-off final.

Don't fancy Notts County at all, have seen them a few times in the past few years and have never really impressed me. Famous last words I know.

Probably stems from that game in 2006(?) With that shite ref. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=t-L0onzR4mE

Mental to think Gary Liddle is in that game, absolute Pools legend.

well from their point of view we have keepers i do not trust plus the torquay and maidenhead games will give them hope.

that game was really mental. the ref did help a long way to make the game what it was. would have been just another game without him.

bennett will know a lot about us but we also know a lot about him. just evens things out for me. their manager as with challinor will know a lot about the opposition they,ll face anyway. its really who turns up on the day and which side gets the big breaks.

With a surge in covid cases in the Stockport area is there a possibility fans won’t be allowed at the game ?

think the cases are in the north of greater manchester and lancashire and not the stockport area.

Hopefully Bennett has some pre agreement with DC and is on his way to us next season. thus given any chance in this game, does fuck all and fluffs his lines. Can see this going to penalties 1-1 after ET. UTFP !!!
