...Monkey Business has finally reached issue no. 200, AND clocked up ten seasons since it went online-only.

No. 200 is now available to read online, as ever at https://www.monkeybizz.net

This time, besides the expected prognostications about the play-offs, the Player-of-the-Year, departing players etc., the Bizz features diverse topics such as Challinor's future, tidying up the Vic, and live streaming. There's also a sizeable quantity of cartoons and our humour-loving prime minister puts in another appearance.

Once again we've included a facsimile of the very first Bizz for those who no longer have the original or the one that was bound into no. 100 in 2010.

And every previous edition from MB104 on is also in the archive on the website, all 95 of them.

Great effort considering a lot of fanzines have just fallen by the wayside after giving up on the print side of things.

Well done.

on a slightly different note did pools do a printed programme for those home games. there wasn,t one at stockport last sunday. if the answer is no then is it something else we have lost to the tippy tappy world.

They did. I got one for the Weymouth game but there was no seller outside the ground when I went in for the Bromley game so I missed out. £3 as per previous seasons and a decent effort, if a bit thin on content compared to last season's programme.

good news. know barnet went down the line of not printing programmes in the 2019/20 season. glad pools did not follow once they had the chance to scrap them.

There were a very limited number of entry points at the Vic for those two games, so if there aren't enough programme sellers about sales will decline anyway and provide an economic justification for scrapping programmes.

The same thing is happening with cash money - after 15 months of loads of retailers refusing to accept cash on 'health' grounds! We'll all be fooked when (not if) a massive cyber attack knocks out digital money payments and access to bank accounts for a week or two.

A huge majority of clubs at lower league level have now scrapped programmes altogether. Was very shocked to find Pools even producing them, even more shocked at just how good they were as well.

i could live without these flashy multi page ones that all clubs produced but would hate to lose em completely. the 8 page ones like 60 years ago would do or at least a printed team sheet for sale is totally needed. i for one like to see the names of the opposition players and do not want my mobile tag with me when coming up the vic.
