The ticket distribution arrangements put in place by the club look fair and simple - respect to them - I was well impressed with the Weymouth arrangements and it is only fair to pass positive comments when we are all so quick to complain. So, well done and thanks to the ticket office team.

Hopefully the home form that Pools have shown over the past few months will hold up for 1 more match. This is where the advantage of finishing 3rd would have got us the one home match to play. Still, our away matches vs both Stockport and Torquay were good performances - hopefully repeats of that form will see us beat Bromley and then we're away for 2 more games..

It was a great result at Notts County too. Pools are a good bet every time they get their noses in front; the game management defending a narrow lead has improved out of all recognition.

On the other hand, we're not exactly the comeback kings so Pools scoring the first goal is crucial. That and avoiding injuries to the first 11, but i imagine all the play off contenders feel the same way about that.

yes it ends up a possible 3 game lottery for us and a 2 for others. pools problem is really the team and bench picks itself. over the season there has been little talk about playing certain players whilst others never get a chance. imagine the other sides in the play offs will have players that there is not much to choose between them and injuries or loss of form might not be as big an issue.

The Pools bench picks itself because all the other players in the squad have been tested and found wanting. Crawford made the bench for the first time in a long time and we all know what he brings to the team - and more to the point, what he doesn't. Personally I'd have preferred to see Timi Odusina there in place of Crawford, not as defensive cover (no thanks!) but in midfield. He's quicker than any of our actual midfielders and decent on the ball.

On Saturday there was no sign of Ofosu and Bloomfield when everyone came on the pitch for the lap of honour- are they even still training with Pools? On the other hand, I'm pretty sure I saw Josh MacDonald out there looking miserable - can't really blame him, he must have felt like a fraud.

The two Counties, Stockport and Notts, have more options than Pools because they've spent the most money. The likes of Torquay are more in our boat. Danny Wright is still out with his hamstring injury. Pools won't face them till the play-off final, if we both get that far, and he's still out I would definitely fancy Pools' chances.

I've heard frequently from many places that Ofosu is furloughed along with a few other players.

Brad Young is the biggest enigma to me. Could of sworn Challinor said he'd rotate him and Killip, only to loan out Young to one of the worst teams in non league (no offence Blyth), and then bring in Ravas and Brad James.

All while the mail are claiming he's on the cusp of a move to Leceister?

I'm worried about Bromley. We've yet to score against them this season, let alone beat them. They've taken four points from our encounters, the teams that finished above us couldn't do that.

Both games were very close and it's not as if Pools weren't making chances. Sometimes the difference between scoring and not scoring is tiny - we hit the bar twice in the 0-0. With home advantage and a crowd in I think we'll do it. UTP.

I hope you are right.

Truth be told we should have beaten Bromley comfortably in both games and with a bit of luck we would have done. It'll be a tough game without a doubt but as long as Challiner doesn't have a Pep moment again and make unnecessary changes we should be ok.

previous games this season mean nothing in the play offs. newport for a start did the double on morecambe but lost out where it mattered. i,m actually more confident of beating them than i would have been if pools had got 6 points off em with two routine wins this season. rather them than chesterfield.

If he sends the team out to play to our strengths, we will be ok.
If however he sends them out to play to counter Bromleys strength,s, I don,t know.

Playing on the front foot no one in this league can match us.

Watch the Pools vs Maidenhead video and reverse everything from that match. Home form has been our strong point. And we don't have a plastic pitch!

as long as we realize there is still some defending to do. thats how the maidenhead game happened and not their all out attacking game that killed us.
