Who wouldn't have ripped their hand off if at the start of the season we had been offered a 4th place finish?

Agree.
Next season would probably be a hangover season.
But I'm confident the best fans non League has ever had can say goodbye to the vanarama in a few weeks time.

I feel sorry for him. I think every matchday programme, Televised match and radio commentary goes out their way to mention he's his brother. He may as well just call himself John, Brother of Wayne at this point.

We can worry about that if we're beaten in the play off final in Bristol.

What happened the season after Cardiff was ridiculous, but back then Pools were a side over-achieving by almost getting into the Championship. It really did feel like a once in a lifetime opportunity missed.

In this division Pools have the resources to bounce back, just as Notts County have done after losing to Harrogate last year.

losing to bromley, stockport or whoever we play in the final if we get there means just the same thing. pools are not getting promoted. honestly if i could see into the future and the cards are not in pools favour i,d rather lose next sunday to be honest. do not want to go through the cardiff experiance again.

well it is with this set of players anyway. cannot keep starting seasons with loads of new faces every year. luck in the transfer market is bound to run out one day as its done multiple times in the past.

Rags to riches to - another season in the National League hasn't got the makings of a Hollywood film script just yet

The Wrexham manager is complaining that there's been "no communication" from the new owners about his job and that players with another year's option on their contract might not sign if the" togetherness in the changing room" is "ripped up." Think he'll soon be hearing that no post-season = new coach over in Yank land.

Bromley probobly been one of the best teams in the league over the last few months, if we’re going to go up we certainly will of deserved it.
