We drew at Barnet, lost to Woking, lost at Weymouth. This is a Wealdstone banker. Let’s hope we stuff them.

pools have hammered a team and been hammered themselves so far this season. can see nothing but tight games from now till the season ends. pity as our goal difference could end up the deciding factor somewhere down the line.

Teams like Wealdstone are more than capable of having a good first half - then flagging in the second 45. That's why the likes of Torquay have turned so many games around at the death. I always like to see Pools score early but as long as they keep at it quality and fitness will see us through.

We seem to be getting better game by game, I really believe that we can win all our remaining games if we can keep all the players we have and stay injury free.

I can see Oates being taken off and Armstrong on followed by Bennet and the new lad on, let's make sure we keep the players fresh and injury free.

Brilliant afternoon. The little dent in Pools' goal difference at the end is a lot less important than Stockport dropping 2 points at home. Winning the league is on!

The pressure is all on the teams chasing us at the minute.

Let's hope it's the start of a winning streak by Barnet.

I reckon if Bennett gets recalled he'll not be too happy with County. He's an adopted Poolie now.
Fingers crossed we can persuade his staying.
We've sent out a massive message today as well as successfully resting Armstrong.
Elliot is sharp and isn't frightened to have a go.
We're into top gear right on cue.
Come on Pools, another six wins will be very nice.

Farking hell, just looked at latest scores, not knowing it was an early kick off. 7-2 away, I’ve seen worse! Torquay and Sutton must really be looking over their shoulders.

I was overjoyed to switch on the radio to find us leading 6-0. The final result will make the others realise Pools mean business.

It was also a pleasure to read Derwent's post that included a gerund correctly preceded by a possessive pronoun.

ToTheHartlepool7-2! What can you say. Very happy to be proved so wrong. Only scab to pick is that after all those goalless games, Sutton U seem to want to play. Ah well. All Pools can do is keep winning and hope they drop points. Thank you HUFC and endorse all the comments on here.

Applying the right pressure. This league is relentless.

I suspect it’s not a two horse race with Sutton a short head in the lead.

do not forget torquay though. be glad when all these teams play their games in hand to show realistically where we stand in the league. pools can only just carry on winning and hope the rest fall away.

all true. unfortunetly bennett will have no say in wether he is recalled or not. doubt he,ll want to go back to a club where he became frozen out and never really looked happy. if it had been the other way round we,d have been in meltdown if pools had loaned a player out to a rival and came good. the only way i can see him stopping is that we sign him permanently. can we afford the fee they may want plus the wages he is on. the speculation is worth it for me but it aint my money though.

Might well be worth a bid as he's under contract at Stockport through to the end of 21/22. They may not be too keen on paying his wages for another season if he's so far down their list of strikers. Mind, if I was in there shoes, I wouldn't sell him to Pools at this time. Alternatively, there might be a deal to be done at the end of the season. Our style of play certainly suits his attributes and he seems to be relishing in the service he's being given.

One slim chance is if we win and they lose this week an 11 point gap and they may think, well we’re not going to win the league, guess I’m clutching at straws. Great win yesterday, just hope conceding 2 goals when 7 nil up doesn’t come back to haunt us.
