My freeview box has knacked and I need to buy another one.
Dont care about fillums, sky sports etc, all that malarky, just need the simplest cheapest option. Cbeebies, maybe some cartoons, sky sports news etc
Anyone know what I should buy?
And why?
Or is it all much of a muchness?

They're all much of a muchness and usually the same thing with a different badge - check the remotes; most of them are the same.

Every box picks up the same channels, so in that regard it doesn't matter - but the performance is vastly different across the brands. I'd have a look here before you buy.

I've got a Goodmans box at the minute which is alright, but I wouldn't get another one if it pops it's clogs -it's really slow to respond to the remote, which can be a pain.

Thanks folks. Had a look at the reviews in that site too and will probably just go cheap at ASDA across the road from work (and hope the remote doesnt knack)
