Decent Vlog that.

Yep, everything does look a bit tired, the Marina and the ground, when was the last time those car parking spaces or the turnstile entrances saw a lick of paint?. If the club sourced me some paint I would happily do it. Unfortunately I can't see things improving in the near future.

Got a press pass, says on the Vlog , does seem a bit lax though. Surely we could all do the same?

Exactly, think I'll just say I'm doing a Vlog and go watch.

it seems a bit of a grey area where any old youtuber can just say they are a reporter and its their full time job. when confronted by the law and asked for a press pass they say they do not need one anymore. for security,s sake you would think there would be a tightening up of these things never mind the virus.

Does all seem a bit strange. Don't know why anyone would want to do a Vlog about Hartlepool on a Boxing Day, down the Marina and at an empty Vic , seems like a decent enough lad though and he's welcome to it as far as I'm concerned. Should have been made to paint those parking spaces though, as a pre-condition of being allowed into the ground HUFC need to look into this

Every away game our groundsmen or at least one of them is there. I can understand coaches doctors even owners but why do our groundsmen need to be at an away game? It seems you are allowed so many people in so get them in.

Used to walk along Clarence road almost every day, and every day I’d think how much a lick of paint on the turnstiles and the gates with the daft players on would just make it a look a bit tidier and professional. It also narks me a bit at the players entrance bit where there was some red England branding from when we hosted a women’s game. The England badge has been covered over but the rest is there red looking out of place around all the blue. Maybe I’m just being pathetic but I just think it looks shite.

Must say I was very impressed with this presenter. Very professional and one to look out for in the future. What’s his name?

Not pathetic at all, just decent, I have done and thought the same.

Did you hear about Lee Johnson at Sunderland?. He walked into the training ground and noticed the clock was broken. He said he wanted it fixed, and some people apparently couldn't understand that, thinking it was a minor issue ( the sort of attitude I have witnessed at Pools for donkeys years ). Johnson I believe more or less said, if you don't need a clock take it down, if its left up, fix the thing and make sure it tells the right time, its a clock FFS!. What does it say about the club when people see it broken.

I say the same when I see the clock on Christ Church in Church Square always displaying the wrong time.

STANDARDS !

Aye, Simpson was an amateur, hence why he's currently in a paid role at a club a division above us.

I’m comparing him as a commentator/presenter. Give him a choice he would be back at Pools tomorrow.

Ground impressive, but in a terrible location on the outskirts of Cumbernauld. Imagine a ground in one of the outlying district of Washington, and you try and walk there from the centre of town ( The Galleries, where the bus station and shopping centre are) little signage and an absence of footpaths, so you resort to walking along the grass verge, that's Clyde's ground.
