No big surprise, and to be fair the Covid rate in Hartlepool stopped going down consistently a while back.

So, this year's season ticket is another write off! I can't see the risk of infection falling substantially till the warmer weather starts making a difference - around the end of April or early May. Might get into the Vic to see 3 or 4 games at best.

Yes experts are saying severe restriction to stay in place until end February at least that makes sense.
Maybe if we get a lot of games cancelled in jan/feb the season may go on another month so the season ticket holders may get to see a few more games.

Right decision IMO , though on reflection probably whole country should've been in tier 3 throughout December. Then I would go for tier 2 throughout January and tier 1 throughout February , then see what the score is for a return to normal after that. This 5 days Xmas mullarkey next week is just bonkers, and could undo any improvements. Shame about the footy, but don't know about anyone else , but getting used to this shit now, this is normal, anything else would seem not normal.

not too bothered about staying in tier 3 anyway. its the restriction in all the tiers that should be looked at in attempt to rid of all the anomolies that still abound. full supermarkets but one in one out shops closed. pubs shut who have spent time and money on distansing measures where you can have a few in your little front room. there must be plenty of others i have missed.
