You turn on the tv and up comes 'Homes under the Hammer', 3 presenters fronting a show that really only needs 1, RIP Off Britain the same, these cookery programmes 4 or 5 presenters where 1 or 2 would be sufficient, jobs for the boys. Feathering each others nests on an industrial scale.

Why in 2020 in a region where people pay their tv licence are we still playing second fiddle to the rest of the country in producing any form of programme for tv/radio, its scandalous. Let's get production teams based in the North East too, London, Bristol, Brum, Manchester, Leeds.....what's coming out of this area atm?, not much that I'm aware of. Think of the job opportunities that could be created up here for our local people. It boileth ones pith.

Homes under the hammer must be cheap. That male presenter usually looks like he's been sleeping under the arches somewhere.

Oh yeah, within 3 years the students will have knocked out a low budget 30 min documentary on local people, which will never get an airing....huge progress.

The reason Homes Under the Hammer has 3 presenters is.... they meet up for a day or 2 to film the links...then they go their seperate ways to different auctions where they will film the interview with the new owners and the pre lookaround with an estate agent etc. As series full of houses at 1 auction. If you notice at the end of the show during the "reveal" the presenter isn't there they just do the voice over. Basically it is cheap tv to make. The presenters probably work a week for a 13 week series.

They don't attend the auctions either, just the camera crew. Do you really need 3 presenters walking towards the camera at the start of the programme all with a sentence each?

 I had it all, the world at my feet, if only Dion Dublin had stuck to footy. 3 sentences an episode and a trudge round a dilapidated house..easy money.

You get to follow the lovely Laura Hamilton around and have a cocktail with her near the beach in A Place in the Sun.

 Keep it quiet, but you should give them a ring, as I've heard Dion is going for Greg Clarkes job. :animals-dogrun:
