Life's a gamble.
U can't question his ability.
Not sure about his fitness.
In there lays the gamble.
UTP.

"Luke will continue to work in training and is now in contention for the matchday squad."

It's only a couple of weeks since DC was talking about Williams proving his match fitness by getting some game time in with a club at a lower level (presumably Northern League). Seemed like a good idea; wonder why it's been abandoned?

Very glad that Ryan Johnson has been given an extended contract - he looks like a real find and has done all that could be expected of him during his short term deal.

Two excellent signings and if Williams stays fit we have one super player. Well done Raj for making it happen

Good point about him going out and getting games BEFORE giving him another deal, which I thought was a great idea, like yourself no idea why this hasn't happened. Hopefully he can be the impact player off the bench to turn draws into wins, good luck Luke!

As I said earlier I don’t think I would have taken the risk but we have so here’s hoping we have egg on our faces.

I doubt it. You would've have thought he would have had to have played in a few games this season, before a contract was offered. Its a crazy gamble.
