Going to be out 'for a period' after a recurrence of his groin injury:

I don't think there's a recall option on Aaron Cunningham's season long loan to Blyth Spartans, so it looks like the only option if there's an injury or sending off to the current back four is Donaldson going to full back - Cass can play at centre back as well as full back. It's a long way from ideal, specially as Ryan Johnson was subbed as a precaution at half time on Saturday because he's also not 100%.

Can see Challinor going back to the loan market if there's no improvement with Liddle's injury next week.

really hope so as cass not being at full back will weaken the side even further. he,d really be wasted at centre half.

I thought it seemed a bit early to back from a groin injury and an unnecessary risk.

I believe Cass’s first position is central defender but would leave a hole at right back. The lack of a right back would then probably mean Donaldson playing there. Whilst not perfect it would be a means of getting him out of midfield.
