Best 3 right backs at Pools ever

Have we had the best 3 right backs at Pools one after another in Kioso, Southam-Hales and Sterry?

They're certainly the best right backs we've ever had in 4 seasons in the National League. Definitely an improvement on Carl Magnay!

All good players but in a crap league so hard to judge against ones who we had in League One. I would say Duckworth and Barron would have been better though. I don’t know who the right back was when we were in Division 2 in the early 90s but he was probably better too.

As an aside I see that Lee 'The Ghost' Bullock is Joint Manager at Whitby Town - where Darren was manager for a good while.

Keith Nobbs, never ducked out of a challenge & in the promotion year in 90/91 season, I lost count of the amount of times he hoofed it forward for Baker to flick on & Allon scored.

Going well back Tony Bircumshaw who was also a superb penalty taker with a rocket of a shot. Also do not forget Len Ashurst wen he joined as player manager.
